The more involved I get in ministries and the more disciplined I become in daily time in scripture and time with God through prayer, the more I know I need to be ON GUARD! Putting on the armor of God everyday is essential to me and for my household.

Thank you for reminding all of us in Christ that the discouragement and negativity that can creep into our minds is of Satan and his emissaries. Stay stong and pray in the Spirit, holding strong the sheild of faith and the weapon in the Word and Spirit of God.

We can be so distracted by the news of the day (stock market, economy, jobs, politics, Greece...)what an opportunity to write down things that remind us of the hope to come in Christ alone and share with our valued clients and others! Most of us are truly blessed but may not have stopped to consider how blessed we are.

Comment on Search Me O God

Praying God's Word back to Him really revolutionized my prayer life a few decades ago. God can rescue us from our addiction to self for sure. By personal experience I've found it much better to voluntarily submit
versus having to go through a very painful breakening. The Beatitudes speaks beautifully to this. Matthew 5:3-10

Comment on Here I Am Reporting for Duty

I stand amazed. God has been all over me this past week about something pretty stinkin" big He is calling me to do. I have been pushing, pulling, screaming, kicking against Him on this. Your message was yet another tap on the head that God seems to keep on me about this. Nudge, nudge, nudge. I am weary with fighting. I know what I must do...trust Him. But his plans are too big for me and I am scared. I don't want to be used this way. i want to stay a shiny happy Christian, love God, love people and sevre my world...the way I WANT TO. He's calliing me to even greater things and I am still wrestling Him on this. I will obediently follow His call, but I would be grateful for your prayers. Prayer for me to trust Him, to know He will handle the details, He will meet my needs during the process and that He will be the one who does the heavy lifting so long as I obediently and faithfully step out in faith. Thank you, Ron. You were abundantly used to speak to me today.
That others will fail me but that He is faithful and true. Wow, to this date I appreciate those simple but deep words. Faith without love that works is dead being alone. If we don't walk in the love of God, our faith is of none effect, it is made void. This is the love of god, that we keep his commandments and they are not grievous.
